Obedience Training
 We offer obedience training for all breeds of dogs. Just think, no pulling on the leash, no jumping on people, very responsive to your commands. As busy as our lives are today you don’t have the time to train your pet(s) and everyone loves a well mannered pet.Board & Train We offer a two week or a month long obedience training program. The dogs enrolled in these programs will receive daily one-on-one training sessions.
After the two week program your dog will have learned how to “heel” to your left side, “sit-stays”, “down- stays”, “climb”, and “no” commands on leash. The training also includes a lesson for you to come out and spend time with the trainer, so they can teach you the commands and corrections used for your dog.
The first two weeks of the month long program is all on leash obedience with a lesson at the end of those two weeks with the trainer. The remainder of the stay the dog will be taught off-leash heeling, as well as the “sit”, “down” “stay”, “climb” commands off-leash. The dog will also learn to come when called. Any behavior problems can be addressed during this program also. At the end of the month program there is another lesson with you and the trainer to go over the off-leash training. We train with the electronic collar, which offers the most reliable off-leash control.
Obedience training is an on-going process that shouldn’t stop when the dog leaves the kennel. For long term success with the obedience, owners should frequently set aside some time to work on the commands that were taught at the kennel. If you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to call. We want you to get the most out of your dogs training, and our trainers are always happy to help with any concerns. Private Lessons If you are having obedience or behavioral problems with your dog, we also offer private lessons for you. Dogs of all ages can benefit from the professional guidance that the private one-on-one lessons offer.
If you are going out of town and need to board your dog, you can enroll your dog in the “refresh” program. For your dog to qualify he or she must have previously been through one of our training programs. While being “refreshed” we can maintain or sharpen up your dogs training while you are out of town.
